Winkhaus FireFrame® with NanYa Solid and Glazed. The door leaf lipping application can only be processed at Distinction Doors.

Doors leafs can only be prepped by the fabricator, if the last fabricator Q-Mark audit covers this manufacturing process. If not, only Distinction Doors can undertake this process, as per following details; Door leaf prepping of the following is covered by the Distinction Doors site

4. Letter Plates

5. PVC Edge banding of door leafs. Multi point locking , Electronic locking , 6 ,4 or plain panel leaves.All hardware such as letter plates, doorviewers and locks as stipulated in the scope of testing .

Whilst this doorset is dual certificated for Enhanced Security and Fire Performance, the specifier must ensure that the performance specifications (Including where applicable, smoke leakage) are suitable for the intended use; referenced within the relevant UK fire related Building Regulations.

SBD was created in 1989 to address the housing needs resulting from the housing boom of the 1960s-1980s.

The estates were built hastily and cheaply, with little to no security.

Burglars found it easy to enter homes through externally glazed windows and doors. All they had to do in many cases is lift out the double-glazing and climb through the frame.

In larger built environments, sky walkways and subways incorporated into design to keep pedestrians and the rapidly growing number of vehicles separate.

However, this created a haven for criminal activities as there were now an abundance of escape routes everywhere and anonymity was absolute.
